chocolate chip & sea salt, peanut butter & jelly, oatmeal raisin, battenkill milk

Food rating:

Baked eggs: 1 / 5 – Edible

Cookies & Milk: 3 / 5 – Good

Comments: I was contemplating whether to give the baked eggs a 1 or 0. But I guess a 0 would be slightly harsh since it was edible. The baked eggs were cooked weird, felt like I was eating a plastic egg and it was drowened in bland crushed tomatoes, topped with some avocado slices and the melted cheese. To be honest, it was quite disgusting, I’ve never had such an unpleasant experience with baked eggs before. I think I’ve ordered baked eggs one other time while I was in NYC and I do NOT trust Americans with baked eggs and crêpes (will review in another post).

I was here to meet my cousin who highly recommends the milk & cookies, which were pretty good. The cookies were served warm; my favourite would be the peanut butter followed by chocolate chip then oatmeal raisin (I don’t fancy anything with raisins). The PB was good but one cookie was plenty! The PB taste was very heavy, oh but I couldn’t taste any jelly at all. The chocolate chip had slight hints of salt which was pleasant. The oatmeal raisin was surprisingly good though I had to carefully pick out all the raisins. Lastly, I wished they served the milk colder 😛

Conclusion: Please, if you know what’s good for you, do NOT order the baked eggs!
